I wonder, how the whole world
would change,
if it mirrored the Aegean;
stone kiss of Gaia
upon Ouranos’ cerulean eyelids,
that fused against her lips,
becoming the islets
of scattered ages,
where upon them, like children,
memories bound?

cicada calls
watermelon seeds
in the amber earth
white sea lilies
brisk salt air
on your bare chest
